While the arrival of Sabato de Sarno as Artistic Director at the beginning of 2023 is still struggling to bear fruit, Gucci is putting the finishing touches to its communications management team<\/strong><\/b>.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Gucci’s new CEO, Stefano Cantino<\/strong><\/b>, whose appointment was made official on October 8, is no stranger to the importance of this function: he himself had been overseeing communications and image at Louis Vuitton (LVMH) for five years<\/strong><\/b> when Kering poached him. Since May, he has been deputy director of Gucci, working alongside CEO Jean-Fran\u00e7ois Palus.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Three new appointments<\/strong><\/b> have just been announced by the Kering Group’s flagship fashion house, whosesales fell by a further 25% in the third quarter of 2024.<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n <\/p>\n At the end of December, Val\u00e9rie Leberichel<\/strong><\/b> will join Gucci as Senior Vice President, Global Communications<\/strong><\/b>, and on November 25, Marcello Mastrogiacomo <\/strong><\/b>will become Vice President, Digital Marketing and Media.<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Daniela Raganato<\/strong><\/b> joins Gucci as Global Media Director.<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n <\/p>\n These three newcomers join Davide Buzzoni,<\/strong><\/b> another LVMH defector who arrived last September as head of global communications.<\/strong><\/b> He replaced Benjamin Cercio<\/strong><\/b>, who left the company last March, after only a year and a half in this position.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Val\u00e9rie Leberichel<\/strong><\/b> brings to Gucci 27 years of experience in marketing and communications strategy<\/strong><\/b> in the fashion and luxury sectors.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Reporting directly to Stefano Cantino, her role will be central<\/strong><\/b> to the development of Gucci’s brand image and communications strategy.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n She will oversee<\/strong><\/b> numerous departments and their teams, including public relations, communications, digital marketing, events and special projects, entertainment industry relations and art purchasing<\/strong><\/b>! The new Vice-President of Digital Marketing and Media, Marcello Mastrogiacomo, will report to her.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Val\u00e9rie Leberichel will also take over the responsibilities of Alessio Vannetti, former Executive Vice-President and Brand Director of Gucci<\/strong><\/b>, whose departure was announced recently and who spent just one year with the House.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n \t\tVal\u00e9rie Leberichel appointed Senior Vice-President, Global Communications<\/h2>\n
