After four years as CEO, Adrien Da Maia decided to pursue his own entrepreneurial adventure.<\/p>\n Marie Leblanc<\/strong><\/b> brings with her a wealth of experience and a holistic approach to fashion.<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n\n In addition to graduating from ESCP Business School<\/strong><\/b> in 2004, she continued her studies with a two-year course in fashion design at the renowned Studio Ber\u00e7ot<\/strong><\/b> until 2006.<\/p>\n After starting out at Isabel Marant and American Retro<\/strong><\/b>, she joined the demanding world of luxury goods in 2012 as Senior Product Development Manager at Celine<\/strong><\/b>, then Collection Director for ready-to-wear at Sonia Rykiel<\/strong><\/b>, and finally Merchandising Manager for women’s fashion at Printemps.<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n In 2018, she joined the fashion house of the famous former Spice Girls, Victoria Beckham, before becoming its CEO at the end of 2019.<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n When her departure was announced in early October, eponymous founder and creative director Victoria Beckham<\/strong><\/b> described her as \u201cthe most incredible partner and CEO<\/strong><\/b>\u201d, expressing her gratitude to have had \u201csuch a strong, intelligent and inspiring woman by her side\u201d.<\/p>\n According to Fashion Network,<\/strong><\/b> Marie Leblanc \u201ctransformed the company into a profitable lifestyle brand<\/strong><\/b>\u201d, overseeing \u201cthe complete repositioning of the brand and the transition to presenting seasonal collections at Paris Fashion Week\u201d.<\/p>\n At Victoria Beckham, Ralph Toledano, President of<\/strong><\/b> the House, is temporarily<\/strong><\/b> taking over the reins<\/strong><\/b> until a new CEO is appointed.<\/p>\n \u201cMarie’s unique talent lies in her ability to immerse herself totally in design, working in tandem with the artistic director,<\/strong><\/b> to ensure constant coherence between design and brand identity, while developing an operational strategy<\/strong><\/b> that supports and promotes that design,\u201d praised Fran\u00e7ois-Henri Pinault, in a statement, before adding that \u201dthis is precisely what Courr\u00e8ges needs to continue its growth trajectory<\/strong><\/b>.\u201d The CEO of Kering and Art\u00e9mis also thanked Adrien Da Maia<\/strong><\/b> for \u201cleading the rebirth of the brand\u201d.<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n In the same press release, Marie Leblanc<\/strong><\/b> said she was \u201cdeeply honored to join Courr\u00e8ges, whose modernity, elegance and audacity have left their mark on fashion history\u201d. She praised \u201cthe remarkable work of the artistic direction, which in four years has enabled us to<\/strong><\/b> make a strong creative statement and give new energy to the<\/strong><\/b>brand\u201d. While she believes that \u201cCourr\u00e8ges now embodies\u201d \u201ca clear statement, combining know-how and high standards with a customer reality\u201d, she confided that she was \u201clooking forward to meeting the teams and working with them to deploy the brand’s very great potential.\u201d<\/p>\n The Adrien Da Maia-Nicolas Di Felice duo<\/strong><\/b> double Courr\u00e8ges’ revenues in 2023<\/strong><\/b> after already achieving triple-digit annual growth in 2021 and 2022,<\/strong><\/b> according to the company, which does not specify how high.<\/p>\n To achieve this, Courr\u00e8ges has been able to count on the talent of creative director Nicolas de Felice, who trained at the renowned Brussels-based \u00c9cole de la Cambre<\/strong><\/b> and has worked for the demanding houses of Balenciaga, Dior and Louis Vuitton.<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n Proof of his talent’s recognition by the Fashion Sphere: he was chosen as guest designer by Jean-Paul Gaultier<\/strong><\/b> to design his Haute Couture show for Autumn-Winter 2024-25, and he chaired the jury at the latest Festival d’Hy\u00e8res,<\/strong><\/b> from October 10 to 13.<\/p>\n In fact, he has successfully stamped his mark on Courr\u00e8ges<\/strong><\/b>, making people appreciate his modern, fresh and effective creations, while respecting the House’s DNA<\/strong><\/b>. His silhouettes have brought iconic pieces such as the miniskirt up to date with new cuts and sustainable materials. Fashionistas follow them on Instagram<\/strong><\/b>, while the Emily in Paris<\/strong><\/b> series contributes to her visibility. Celebrities such as Dua Lipa, Ariana Grande, the Blackpinks and Bella Hadid<\/strong><\/b> also fuel the buzz by attending her shows.<\/p>\n Buoyed by its new-found notoriety, the Maison has been able to expand its retail network<\/strong><\/b>.
