Other projects of the same type are expected to follow around the world.<\/h4>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h4><\/h4>\n<p>Italian charm combined with the charm of ancient Byzantium, now Constantinople and Istanbul. <b><strong>Etro to open luxury residences in the Turkish capital.<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b><strong>Italian fashion and luxury brands<\/strong><\/b> such as Armani have long been <b><strong>investing in interiors with their Home collections.<\/strong><\/b> Many others, such as Roberto Cavalli, Dolce &amp; Gabbana and Missoni, are also venturing into <b><strong>the hotel and real estate sectors<\/strong><\/b>, imitated by brands of other nationalities&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>First steps in real estate<\/h2>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<p><b><strong>Etro <\/strong><\/b>is <b><strong>taking its first steps into real estate.<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Italian luxury house, which will be<b><strong> acquired by the Franco-American fund L Catterton in 2021<\/strong><\/b>, has teamed up with two partners, the <b><strong>Turkish real estate group Rams Global<\/strong><\/b> and the <b><strong>Italian luxury furniture supplier Oniro<\/strong><\/b>, to carry out the \u201c <b><strong>Etro Residences Istanbul<\/strong><\/b> \u201d project.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Etro will design <b><strong>37 of the 40 floors of the future luxury residence<\/strong><\/b>, due to open in the second half of 2026, in the<b><strong> Malask<\/strong><\/b> business district<b><strong> in the European part of Istanbul,<\/strong><\/b> with a<b><strong> panoramic view of the<\/strong><\/b> mythical and majestic<b><strong> Bosphorus.<\/strong><\/b> In each 2,000 m2 space, La Maison Transalpine will design the interiors and common areas.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>For its part, <b><strong>Oniro Group will create and supply products for the Etro Home Interiors collection<\/strong><\/b>, including furniture and fully customized elements.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>A collaboration destined to expand<\/h2>\n<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This first site will be the <b><strong>first in a collaboration between Etro and Rams Global<\/strong><\/b>, who plan to open similar sites in other countries.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<b><strong> The aim is to extend our collaboration with ETRO beyond Turkey and into the global market<\/strong><\/b>,\u201d says <b><strong>Devran B\u00fclb\u00fcl, President of RAMS Turkey.<\/strong><\/b> <b><strong>Fabrizio Cardinali, CEO of ETRO<\/strong><\/b>, added that this new \u201cpartnership with RAMS GLOBAL marks the beginning of a long-term collaboration to promote the reputation and equity of a brand with an extraordinary heritage and an innovative, far-sighted spirit\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>With this new project <b><strong>, ETRO is further expanding its lifestyle territory.<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b><strong>Founded in 1968 by Gerolamo Etro, originally a fabric manufacturer<\/strong><\/b>, ETRO has gradually <b><strong>evolved into a global brand<\/strong><\/b>comprising<b><strong> ready-to-wear, accessories, fragrances, household linen and decorative items,<\/strong><\/b> with its famous paisley motif as part of its DNA.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In recent seasons, ETRO has launched an <b><strong>eyewear collection, a perfume license and a range of children&#8217;s clothing<\/strong><\/b>, <b><strong>ETRO Kids, to<\/strong><\/b> complement its existing men&#8217;s and women&#8217;s models.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>The means to achieve its ambitions<\/h2>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<p>The brand has given itself the <b><strong>means to achieve its ambitions<\/strong><\/b>. At the end of 2023, it announced a <b><strong>capital increase of 15 million euros by its main shareholder L Catterton.<\/strong><\/b> This was to finance the major investments planned as part of the overall recovery project initiated at the end of 2021.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b><strong>L Catterton became Etro&#8217;s majority shareholder (60%) in July 2021.<\/strong><\/b> <b><strong>The four heirs to<\/strong><\/b> the company and children of the brand&#8217;s founder, Ippolito, Jacopo, Kean and Veronica Etro, still hold the <b><strong>remaining 40%.<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Since<b><strong> the arrival of L Catterton and the subsequent appointment of a new CEO, Fabrizio Cardineli<\/strong><\/b>, followed <b><strong>in May 2022 by a new Creative Director, Marco De Vincenzo<\/strong><\/b> (ex Fendi), Etro has undergone<b><strong>a reorganization<\/strong><\/b>of its processes (logistics and distribution) and a <b><strong>strategic repositioning<\/strong><\/b>. The aim was to better match the company&#8217;s product offering, improve its image and enhance its digital commitment&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>At the time of its acquisition by L Catterton, Etro had <b><strong>140 single-brand stores worldwide.<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In <b><strong>2022<\/strong><\/b>, ETRO&#8217;s <b><strong>sales<\/strong><\/b> <b><strong>grew by 17% to 277 million euros<\/strong><\/b>, but with a<b><strong> loss of 23.6 million euros.<\/strong><\/b> In the same year, the CEO set <b><strong>his sights on sales of 500 million euros<\/strong><\/b> over the <b><strong>next five years.<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>A new standard in luxury real estate<\/h2>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<p>For<b><strong> Devran B\u00fclb\u00fcl (RAMS Turkey)<\/strong><\/b>, the new partnership embodied by this first project with ETRO \u201cnot only represents a new global perspective on the real estate market, but also sets a <b><strong>new standard for collaborations with luxury brands<\/strong><\/b>\u201d. In his eyes, \u201cthe union between ETRO&#8217;s excellent design and RAMS GLOBAL&#8217;s avant-garde, combined with its 36 years of experience, will make the branded real estate sector even more modern and innovative.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>For his part, <b><strong>Moreno Brambilla, CEO of the ONIRO Group,<\/strong><\/b> spoke of \u201ca<b><strong> successful new chapter\u201d in its \u201cexpansion strategy in branded residences<\/strong><\/b> \u201d. He explained that he and his teams were \u201cvery proud\u201d of \u201cthe partnership established with ETRO, excellence in Made in Italy fashion, and RAMS GLOBAL, one of the world&#8217;s leading and fastest-growing real estate groups\u201d. He concluded: \u201c<b><strong>When three partners of this calibre meet and work together, you can only expect magic<\/strong><\/b>&#8230;\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\n<\/p>\n<p>\t\t<section
