Since 1993, Piper-Heidsieck has been making its bubbles sparkle at the world’s greatest film festivals, including the Cannes Film Festival and the Oscars<\/strong><\/b> until 2020.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n A must today, the House also partners with new festivals promoting inclusion<\/strong><\/b>, such as the Independent Film Spirit Awards<\/strong><\/b>.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n On the sports<\/strong><\/b> front ,<\/strong><\/b> Piper-Heidsieck has also been a supplier to the Rolex Paris Masters<\/strong><\/b>, the world’s biggest indoor tennis tournament, since 2021.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Finally, in terms of sustainable development<\/strong><\/b>, Benoit Collard highlighted the company’s \u201c B-Corp certification<\/strong><\/b>\u201d and its commitment to the NGO \u201cTeam for the Planet\u201d.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Along with Charles Heidsieck and Rare Champagne, the other E.P.I. Houses, Piper-Heidsieck was one of the first Champagne Houses<\/strong><\/b> in 2022 to obtain B Corp<\/strong><\/b> (Beneficial Corporation) certification<\/strong><\/b>, awarded to companies that have demonstrated their virtuous approach to social and environmental issues, public transparency and legal responsibility.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Finally, Beno\u00eet Collard also expressed his \u201cgratitude\u201d to everyone in the markets and in Reims for the birth ofRare Champagne<\/strong><\/b> (the multi-press group’s Maison which is only published in exceptional years, ed. note) as an autonomous brand,<\/strong><\/b> which during the 7 years I’ve been in charge, until 2022, has seen its crown shine all over the world\u201d.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n 150 years after its creation in 1988<\/strong><\/b>, Maison Piper-Heidsieck fell into the hands of the R\u00e9my Cointreau group,<\/strong><\/b> before joining the EPI<\/strong><\/b> (Entreprise Patrimoniale d’Investissement) group in 2011<\/strong><\/b>.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The two-headed luxury group (wine and fashion)<\/strong><\/b> EPI was founded in 1974 by Jean-Louis Descours,<\/strong><\/b> a former major shareholder in the Vivarte group, and developed mainly through external growth.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n On the fashion side, EPI acquired shoe manufacturer JM Weston<\/strong><\/b> in 1974, Alain Figaret shirts<\/strong><\/b> in 2006 (since sold to Experienced Capital Partner) and Bonpoint (children’s fashion)<\/strong><\/b> in 2007.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n On the wine side<\/strong><\/b>, in 1981<\/strong><\/b> he created the vineyard Ch\u00e2teau la Verrerie<\/strong><\/b>, which produces an AOC wine in the Luberon region, before acquiringthe two champagnes Piper Heidsieck and Charles Heidsieck<\/strong><\/b> in 2011.<\/strong><\/b> In 2017 and again in 2022, the EPI Group also acquired two renowned Italian wineries<\/strong><\/b> based in Tuscany, namely Biondi-Santi<\/strong><\/b>, producer of the famous \u201cBrunello di Montalcino\u201d, and Isole e Olena<\/strong><\/b>, the emblematic birthplace of Chianti Classico.<\/p>\n <\/p>\nA sense of accomplishment<\/h2>\n
