Porsche<\/strong><\/b> makes people travel…and not just adults on the road.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The Korean subsidiary of the famous luxury car brand<\/strong><\/b> enabled talented young ballet students from underprivileged backgrounds to take off on a two-week training trip to Stuttgart, Germany.<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n <\/p>\n The program is one of ten CSR projects launched by Porsche Korea<\/strong><\/b> to celebrate its tenth anniversary.<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n <\/p>\n The idea was to expand the \u201cPorsche Do Dream\u201d campaign,<\/strong><\/b> launched eight years ago to provide personalized support to the Korean company in various sectors.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The ten new programs aim to \u201cfoster the sustainable development of future generations<\/strong><\/b>, by giving them the means to pursue and realize their dreams\u201d. They cover five areas: education, sport, arts and culture, the environment and society.<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Carried out in collaboration with ChildFund Korea and Dance Planner<\/strong><\/b>, the young dancers’ initiative was at the crossroads of sport, culture and the arts. This was a major<\/strong><\/b> cultural first outside Korea<\/strong><\/b>, with the organization of an international training course.<\/p>\n\n <\/p>\n Last June, Porsche Korea selected 15 highly promising ballet students<\/strong><\/b>, enrolled from 5th grade to the second year of high school. Before flying to Stuttgart, these young talents underwent an in-depth mentoring program.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n During their stay in Germany<\/strong><\/b>, they then benefited from a dream program: Masterclass with Stuttgart dancers, personalized mentoring, cultural excursions, an exclusive visit to the Stuttgart Ballet’s John Cranko School<\/strong><\/b>, and a wink from the godfather… photo sessions at the Porsche Museum.<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The highlight of the trip was a performance at the Theaterhaus Stuttgart.<\/strong><\/b> On the program: \u201cDon Quixote Kitri Solo\u201d, \u201cEsmeralda Solo\u201d and various contemporary dance pieces.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Among the amazed spectators was Holger Gerrmann, CEO of Porsche Korea<\/strong><\/b>. \u201cThanks to the performance of the Korean ballet students, the audience in Stuttgart, home of the world-class ballet and Porsche, could feel the excitement and positive energy of this international cultural exchange,\u201d he commented before recalling the vocation of Porsche Turbo for Dreams: \u2018to help young talents realize their dreams\u2019.<\/strong><\/b> \u201cToday, they have not only created memories that will shape their future, but they have also been a source of inspiration for all those who witnessed the outcome of their remarkable journey,\u201d he emphasized.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Since the inception of the \u201cPorsche Do Dream\u201d program, Porsche Korea has donated a total of<\/strong><\/b> KRW 7.63 billion ($5.59 million<\/strong><\/b>), benefiting 118 organizations<\/strong><\/b> and 31,417 individuals<\/strong><\/b>. In 2024<\/strong><\/b>, the brand plans to allocate KRW 1.75 billion ($1.28 million<\/strong><\/b>) via its extended programs.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Porsche Korea thus supports a variety of projects<\/strong><\/b> whether in culture, art, education or the environment<\/strong><\/b>. These include the construction of<\/strong><\/b> indoor gymnasiums<\/strong><\/b> in elementary schools, theawarding of scholarships to children gifted in the arts or sports<\/strong><\/b>, the installation of solar panels and green spaces<\/strong><\/b>, a road safety campaign for children<\/strong><\/b>, support for the performing arts<\/strong><\/b> in partnership with the Seoul Foundation for Arts and Culture<\/strong><\/b>, an intangible cultural heritage succession program<\/strong><\/b> with the Korea Cultural Heritage Foundation, a<\/strong><\/b> public-private partnership (PPP) art project<\/strong><\/b> using the city of Seoul’s public bicycle, the creation of a bee garden<\/strong><\/b> for urban apiculture or the expansion of green spaces<\/strong><\/b> in collaboration with Seoul Green Trust<\/strong><\/b>…<\/p>\n <\/p>\n There is no shortage of good ideas supported by Porsche Korea to make the future more beautiful and greener in South Korea…<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n \t\tA first outside Korea<\/b><\/h2>\n
