The shoulder season, or the possibility of shifting holidays between March and early May and between September and October, is becoming increasingly popular, as tour operators note.<\/p>\n

In any case, 54% of those surveyed plan to travel to their holiday destination by plane<\/strong>, a mode of transport that is growing in popularity (up 5%<\/strong> on last year).
