Although the warm weather may be slow in coming to Paris, Parisians and visitors from all over the world have a new rooftop to add to their address books. The panoramic terrace of the H\u00f4tel Barri\u00e8re Fouquet’s Paris, in the 8th arrondissement, has been given a makeover by the famous interior designer Cordelia de Castellane.<\/h4>\n

A new iconic summer address is ready to welcome lucky customers. It’s the rooftop of the H\u00f4tel Barri\u00e8re Fouquet’s Paris, called the Marta, right in the heart of the golden triangle on Avenue George V. Reworked by interior designer Cordelia de Castellane, this year it reveals a poetic, elegant and magical atmosphere. And all this after taking its guests to a Miami Beach atmosphere in 2023.<\/p>\n

Softness and refinement at the Marta<\/h2>\n

 <\/p>\n

As you enter this five-star hotel on the top floor, with the legendary Eiffel Tower as a backdrop, you are greeted by lush vegetation in the form of a hanging garden. In the centre of this panoramic terrace, an antique fountain and a plant sculpture in the shape of a horse add a touch of romance. Here, you might think you’re in a labyrinth, with geometric shapes and a path similar to that of a bucolic path.<\/p>\n

The furniture is second-hand, with an emphasis on strong pieces such as wrought-iron tables and chairs. The whole is softened by floral, almost retro textiles on the cushions and lamps. A secret passageway has been opened to lead visitors into a large dining room with a new interior design.<\/p>\n

To design and stage Le Marta, the H\u00f4tel Barri\u00e8re Fouquet’s Paris called on interior designer Cordelia de Castellane.<\/strong> Known for her stylish, elegant, subtly colourful and floral style, Cordelia de Castellane is none other than the artistic director of Dior Maison and Baby Dior.<\/p>\n

A new menu<\/h2>\n

For the summer season, Le Marta is offering a menu designed by Maeg Boit.<\/strong> The refreshing cocktails have pretty names: Rosier du Jardin, Lavande Royale, Nectar Divin, Poire en Majest\u00e9 and more.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Appetisers include creamy fresh goat’s cheese with flowers, lobster roll, crab tarama and artichokes barigoule with feta, pine nuts and rocket. To enhance the experience, tastings are served in antique crockery, perfectly in keeping with the rooftop d\u00e9cor.<\/p>\n
