Actress Elle Fanning will be the juror of the upcoming L’Or\u00e9al Paris Lights on Women’s Worth award. Presented as part of the Cannes Film Festival, this distinction honors the work of short film directors.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

From May 14 to 25<\/strong> next, L\u2019Or\u00e9al Paris<\/strong> returns to the Croisette as a partner and official makeup artist of the Cannes Film Festival<\/strong>. The cosmetics giant will present the fourth edition of its Lights on Women\u2019s Worth<\/strong> award on this occasion.<\/p>\n

This year, it’s American actress Elle Fanning<\/strong> who will take on the role of juror. L’Or\u00e9al Paris ambassador since 2017<\/strong>, she succeeds Kate Winslet<\/strong>, the only person to have held this title since the creation of the award in 2021<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

“I am honored to chair the jury of the Lights on Women’s Worth award and to participate in the continuation of this important initiative<\/i>,” said the 26-year-old. “Such platforms are essential to support emerging female talents, give them the opportunity to showcase their unique skills and work, and enable them to become the artists they want to be.”<\/em><\/p>\n

The 26-year-old actress – discovered in Sofia Coppola’s film Somewhere<\/em> in 2010 – will review the different selected films alone. An important responsibility, but the American seems perfectly suited for this role. She herself stepped behind the camera in 2020<\/strong> by directing the short film Gucci Always Wins<\/em>.<\/p>\n

In 2019<\/strong>, the American star had already stood out on the Croisette by becoming the youngest juror of the Cannes Film Festival at its 72nd edition.<\/p>\n

In addition to her contract with L\u2019Or\u00e9al Paris, Elle Fanning has also been an ambassador for Maison Cartier since 2023<\/strong>. She then lent her features to the new Grain de Caf\u00e9 collection.<\/p>\n
