Via its NIV investment fund, Est\u00e9e Lauder participated, along with other Tech players, in the first round of financing for Kiki World, a highly innovative Californian beauty start-up based on web3 and blockchain technologies.<\/h4>\n

<\/p>\n

Est\u00e9e Lauder<\/strong><\/b> is one of the investors betting on Kiki World.<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n

Through its investment fund NIV (New Incubation Ventures)<\/strong><\/b>, Est\u00e9e Lauder has participated in Kiki World’s first round of financing<\/strong><\/b>. Raising a total of 7 million dollars<\/strong><\/b>, this round also rallied other tech and finance players: the A16z crypto, Double Down, 2Punks Capital and Advancit funds, the RedDao and OrangeDao digital communities and digital creator GMoney<\/strong><\/b>.<\/p>\n

NIV had already been scouting Kiki World for a while: at the end of 2022, the fund had invested in the design phases of the start-up ahead of its launch in Los Angeles in 2023 by Jana Bobosikova, Brendon Garner and Ricky Chan.<\/p>\n

Web3 and Blockchain<\/h2>\n

Kiki World stands out from the growing competition in the beauty sector, thanks to its original approach. It co-creates its products with its community of customers, but seeks to spare them the disadvantages of digital marketing, linked to the use of web2 and “classic” social media<\/strong><\/b>. It thus offers its community of consumers to connect to the brand between each other via its proprietary platform, which makes use of web3 and Blockchain infrastructure.<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n
