The Comit\u00e9 Colbert is organizing the third edition of its Entr\u00e9e en Mati\u00e8re exhibition at the Galerie des Gobelins, Paris, from April 4 to 7.<\/p>\n

The organization, which has represented the French luxury goods industry since 1954, is inviting the general public, and particularly young people, to discover the professional skills of craftsmen and women from the major houses, as well as future talents still in training. In the same spirit as the De(ux)Mains du Luxe event held at Station F, Parisian accelerator center, last December.<\/p>\n

This new edition, staged in conjunction with the Mode M\u00e9tiers d’Art et Design campus and the Mobilier National, also promises visitors a rare and therefore precious pleasure: strolling through the majestic Galerie des Gobelins.<\/p>\n

The event is one of 8,000 events and studio open-houses taking place from April 4 to 7, in Paris and the surrounding region, to mark the Journ\u00e9es Europ\u00e9ennes des M\u00e9tiers d’Art (JEMA). Now in its 18th year, the JEMA, coordinated by the Institut National des M\u00e9tiers d’Art, will feature the Auvergne-Rh\u00f4ne-Alpes region and Portugal in this 2024 edition. The event will be entitled “Sur le bout des doigts”, evoking discovery through touch – “discovering, touching, smelling and feeling the crafts”.<\/p>\n

The “Entr\u00e9e en Mati\u00e8re” exhibition<\/strong> is a unique opportunity to discover expertise, work with noble materials, attend demonstrations and meet craftsmen from prestigious French luxury brands.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Many of these companies have already taken part, including Atelier de la Boiserie, Atelier Meriguet-Carr\u00e8re, Baccarat, Bernardaud, Breguet, Chanel, Christofle,Herm\u00e8s, 19M, Mobilier National, Puiforcat, S\u00e8vres-Manufacture et Mus\u00e9e Nationaux and ST Dupont.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n This new edition innovates in its visit itinerary, as it will be possible to stroll through the heart of the Gallery, as well as the Gobelins enclosure<\/strong>, usually inaccessible to the public.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n \t\t10,000 events in France and Europe<\/h2>\n\n<\/p>\n
