For the 2024 Michelin Guide ceremony<\/strong>, all the cream of the French gastronomic scene gathered at the Palais des Congr\u00e8s de Tours<\/strong>. Among the<\/span> <\/span>more than 700 chefs<\/strong> present, two stood out by receiving the prestigious third star. In 2023, Alexandre Couillon, head of La Marine in Noirmoutier, was the sole recipient of such an award.<\/span> J\u00e9r\u00f4me Banctel<\/strong>, chef at Gabriel, the restaurant at La R\u00e9serve Paris<\/strong> hotel, and Fabien Ferr\u00e9<\/strong>, chef of La Table du Castellet<\/strong>, located in Var, are the stars of the list this year as they join the circle of three-starred establishments. At 35 years old<\/strong>, Fabien Ferr\u00e9 becomes the youngest 3-star<\/strong> chef in France. In total, 62 establishments<\/strong> were honored during the ceremony.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Eight restaurants<\/strong> earned their second star<\/strong>: Maison Beno\u00eet Vidal in Annecy (74), Sylvestre Walid – Les Grandes Alpes in Courchevel (73), Maison Ronan Kervarrec in Saint-Gr\u00e9goire (35), Jules Verne located atop the Eiffel Tower (75), Maison Ruggieri in Paris (75), L’Orangerie d’Alan Taudon, a table at the Hotel George V in Paris (75), Le Mas Les Eydins by Christophe Bacqui\u00e9 in Bonnieux (84), and finally, Les Ambassadeurs by Christophe Cussac in Monaco (98).<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Fifty-two restaurant<\/span>s<\/span> made their entr<\/span>ance<\/strong> into the Michelin 2024 list with a first star. A record number that also stands out for the youth of the awardees. “Thirty [restaurants] are run by restaurateurs under the age of 40,<\/em>” said Gwendal Poullennec<\/strong>, international director of the Michelin guide.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n With 12 establishments<\/strong> (Espadon (Paris 1st), Nhome (Paris 1st), Le Tout-Paris (Paris 1st), Sushi Yoshinaga (Paris 2nd), Datil (Paris 3rd), H\u00e9micycle (7th), Galanga (Paris 8th), Maison Dubois (Paris 8th), Onor (Paris 8th), G\u00e9osmine (Paris 11th), Chakaiseiki Akiyoshi (Paris 15th), Blanc (Paris 16th)), the \u00cele-de-France region<\/strong> emerges as the most awarded<\/strong>.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Another distinction awarded by the Michelin guide to restaurateurs: green stars<\/strong>. For four years, these awards have been designed to highlight chefs’ committed approach to sustainability<\/span> in their gastronomy. Nine establishments<\/strong> were thus honored: Les Jardiniers, in Ligr\u00e9 (37), La Cour de R\u00e9mi, in Bernicourt (08), Bellefeuille – Saint James Paris, in Paris (75), Domaine du Ch\u00e2telard, in Dirac (16), L\u2019Art de vivre, in Narbonne (11), La Galinette, in Perpignan (66), En pleine Nature, in Quint-Fonsegrives (31), Le Saint Hilaire, in Saint-Hilaire-de-Brethmas (30), and La Bastide de Moustiers, in Moustiers-Sainte-Marie (04).<\/p>\n <\/p>\nFirst star<\/h2>\n
