The rumors of recent months have finally been confirmed.<\/span> The Italian Maison Trussardi<\/strong> is about to be acquired by the ready-to-wear specialist group Miroglio<\/strong>. Last January, anonymous sources close to the matter informed the American media Bloomberg<\/strong> that the brand and some of its subsidiaries were to be sold to the Piedmontese group.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The decision was validated in<\/span> the past few days by the Milan Court<\/strong>.<\/span> The terms of the agreement have not yet been fully disclosed, but they would include the Maison founded by Dante Trussardi<\/strong> in 1911<\/strong>, a few boutiques, and an undisclosed number of employees according to a report from TPF-The Platform<\/strong>. The Palazzo Trussardi<\/strong>, the Maison’s headquarters located on Piazza della Scala in Milan<\/strong>, however, will not be included in the transfer. The building will remain the property of the Trussardi family after undergoing major renovation at the end of 2022<\/strong>.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The acquisition of Trussardi comes after several years of crisis for the Italian company. The proceeds from the sale will be used to repay the debt of 50 million euros<\/strong> accumulated by the company. Since 2019<\/strong>, Trussardi has been owned by QuattroR<\/strong>, an Italian investment fund committed to promoting the recovery and development of medium and large companies in the country. The transaction resulted in the creation of a new company, owned 70%<\/strong> by QuattroR and 30%<\/strong> by Tomaso Trussardi<\/strong>, CEO of the family business.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n This previous change of ownership has not been enough to lift the company out of trouble.
