Since 1715<\/strong>, the House of Martell<\/strong> has been a benchmark for spirits enthusiasts. Martell has been behind numerous exceptional bottles such as Martell XO<\/strong>, Martell Cr\u00e9ation Grand Extra<\/strong>, and L\u2019Or de Jean Martell<\/strong>. Today, the oldest of cognac houses showcases its mastery through the exclusive collection L\u2019Or de Jean Martell – R\u00e9serve du Ch\u00e2teau<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This new designation refers to limited edition blends (1,000 numbered pieces<\/strong>) created in partnership with prestigious French ch\u00e2teaux. Embracing the concept of heritage and tradition, Martell relies on the expertise of its Cellar Master, Christophe Valtaud<\/strong>, who inherits a savoir-faire perfected over nine generations by the House.<\/p>\n

To obtain the most refined aromas, Valtaud carefully selects and blends over 1,400 eaux-de-vie<\/strong> sourced from the finest cognac terroirs. While the blending process alone demonstrates great skill, the aging of the L\u2019Or de Jean Martell – R\u00e9serve du Ch\u00e2teau blends perfects the search for exceptional flavors. The cognac undergoes additional aging in unique casks. Crafted from 300-year-old oaks<\/strong> from France’s oldest forests, these barrels impart depth and rich complexity to the cognac. This crucial final step begins in the House’s historic cellar before moving to the celebrated ch\u00e2teau property.<\/p>\n
