Longchamp has just published 44% like-for-like earnings growth for its 2023 financial year, reflecting the company’s cardinal values of optimism and good humor. More than ever, the independent French leather goods house proves that it deserves the status of luxury love brand.<\/h4>\n

That’s how Longchamp sums up its good mood, as evidenced by the title track of the feverish British rock band Supergrass, which can be heard in its latest campaign shot on the grounds of the prestigious Lyc\u00e9e Henri IV in Paris.<\/p>\n

Normally particularly discreet, Longchamp, the venerable French leather goods manufacturer founded in 1848, announced “record” sales for its 2023 financial year<\/strong> ending December 31, up 44% on the previous year<\/strong>. This growth is due in particular to increased activity in China and a brand-new e-commerce site.<\/p>\n

Communicative good humor<\/h2>\n

This growth was driven by an 84% increase in sales in mainland China<\/strong>, where the French leather goods house has opened 7 new stores in 2023<\/strong>. While Longchamp is renowned for its strategy of reasoned openings<\/strong>, these new locations now bring the number of boutiques present in mainland China to forty.<\/strong><\/p>\n
