Jumeirah intends to become one of the top five luxury hotel brands in the world<\/strong>. And it is giving itself the means to do so, announcing that it will double the number of its assets by 2030.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n The luxury hotel group, a subsidiary of Dubai Holding<\/strong>, already operates a portfolio of 26 “world-class” properties<\/strong> in the Middle East, Europe and Asia. These include resorts, city hotels and luxury serviced residences.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The restaurant offer is distinct, with no fewer than 85 restaurants<\/strong> combining “authentic and varied cuisines with spectacular settings<\/em>“. Twenty of these feature in the Gault & Millau and Michelin guides, “thanks to award-winning in-house concepts and partnerships with renowned brands<\/em>” such as the Zuma group, specialists in Japanese catering.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n But the man who bought the Richemond, a legendary hotel<\/strong> in the heart of Geneva’s business district, at the beginning of 2023 – his first milestone in Switzerland – has no intention of stopping there.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n To double the number of hotels<\/strong>, the company will “build on its strength in the United Arab Emirates and develop its portfolio in key global markets”.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n His idea is thus to “strengthen its presence in Europe<\/strong>, building on its solid base in London, Capri, Majorca and Geneva<\/strong> to acquire luxury properties in other major cities, as well as exploring the opportunities offered by the United States<\/strong><\/em>“.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Jumeirah also intends to ride the rising wave of the Asia-Pacific market<\/strong>, where it already has assets in China, Bali and the Maldives, and further expand its reach there.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n In general, the Group will be choking off its portfolio of ultra-high-end hotels and resorts, such as the Burj Al Arab Jumeirah in Dubai, the luxurious Arabian palaces of Madinat Jumeirah, a luxury resort in Bali and the Capri Palace Jumeirah in Italy.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n\n<\/p>\n \t\tStrengthening its presence in Europe and the United States<\/h2>\n
