Chlo\u00e9 has appointed Laurent Malecaze as its new CEO and President. The Richemont Group, owner of the prestigious Parisian fashion brand, has chosen a familiar face from the Swiss group, until now CEO of Dunhill, another House in its portfolio.<\/h4>\n

On December 13, Chlo\u00e9 announced the appointment of Laurent Malecaze as the new CEO and President of the Maison Chlo\u00e9. He succeeds Riccardo Bellini, who will step down this month after four years at the helm of the bohemian luxury ready-to-wear house.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

At the helm during the pandemic, the outgoing CEO opted for a brand elevation strategy by discontinuing the See By Chlo\u00e9 line.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

A regular in the Richemont galaxy<\/h2>\n

During his tenure, outgoing CEO Riccardo Bellini<\/strong> accompanied the dazzling growth of the House, a veritable fashion showcase for the Richemont group, the world’s third-largest luxury conglomerate.<\/p>\n

Her decision to recruit Gabriella Hearst<\/strong> as head of creation in 2020 has thus enabled Chlo\u00e9 to accelerate in environmental matters<\/strong> to the point of becoming the first luxury House to achieve B. Corp certification in 2021.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Last October<\/strong>, Riccardo Bellini called on Chemena Kamali<\/strong> (ex-Saint Laurent) to replace her as artistic director. Her baptism of fire will take place at Paris Fashion Week in February.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Laurent Malecaze<\/strong>, meanwhile, has been at the helm of British fashion and leather goods brand Dunhill<\/strong> – also owned by the Richemont Group – since January 2022<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<\/p>\n
