Conran Shop, the iconic Parisian concept store on rue du Bac, will close its doors for good on December 20. Present since 1992 in the adjoining former Bon March\u00e9 warehouses, the French subsidiary of the British design retailer has had to contend with inflation and changing consumer habits.<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n

It comes as a shock to many Parisians accustomed to finding lighting fixtures, furniture and objects as unusual as they are designer: the Parisian address Conran Shop has been placed in receivership.<\/strong><\/div>\n

From November 29 to December 20<\/strong>, the Conran Shop Paris is liquidating its entire stock<\/strong>, with discounts ranging from -30 to -70%.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

A veritable institution, the Conran Shop was one of the pioneering concept stores in Paris, along with Colette and l’Eclaireur.<\/strong><\/div>\n

The news<\/strong> was announced on the Parisian Conran Shop e-commerce site<\/strong>, which is now inoperative. In its message, the high-end furniture and home furnishings retailer claims to have, over three decades, “had the privilege of building a community of loyal customers<\/strong>” and “offered its public a unique lifestyle and decorating experience<\/strong>.”<\/div>\n
