Emerald Stay<\/strong> continues to expand at a breakneck pace. The B-Corp-certified<\/strong> Franco-Swiss tourism operation scale-up has added a third acquisition to its portfolio in less than a year. After integrating Esteva Group and Morgan and Morgan<\/strong>, two villa managers in Mallorca<\/strong>, Emerald Stay now extends its scope to Ski Verbier Exclusive (SVE)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n “The acquisition of SVE marks our entry into the ultra-luxury market, a buoyant segment of the travel industry with solid fundamentals that we aim to develop beyond Verbier,”<\/em> said Maxime Friess<\/strong>, CEO and co-founder of Emerald Stay. “We’ve been very impressed by what the SVE team has built over time, the quality of service they deliver and the trusted relationships they’ve forged with very high-end clientele and owners, and we’re delighted to welcome them to the Emerald Stay family.”<\/em><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n CEO Maxime Friess and his sidekick Laurent Lacourt<\/strong> think big, fast and high. In 2017<\/strong>, they combined their skills to found Emerald Stay in Geneva. The company becomes a scale-up in “prop-tech” working in the tourist exploitation of exclusive high-end properties, by the sea and in the mountains.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n It is backed by Limestone Capital<\/strong> and several family businesses and business angels in the technology sector. In 2021<\/strong>, it won the “Best Leisure Property Management Company”<\/strong> award at the Shortyz, an international event for market players. In 2022<\/strong>, it became the first hotel company in Europe to be B-Corp certified, underlining its pioneering approach to environmental and social responsibility. It has also been recognized as a “Great Place to Work” and “HappyAtWork” (ChooseMyCompany) accredited company.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Thanks to its sector expertise and use of the latest technologies, the company is able to relieve owners of the worries associated with managing and profiting from their properties, as well as providing holidaymakers with a level of service equivalent to that of a hotel.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Emerald Stay, which relocated its headquarters to Barcelona in 2019<\/strong> with a view to accelerated growth, has seen its e\ufb00ectives and property portfolio double in the space of a year.
