Three months after the Richemont group became a majority shareholder, Gianvito Rossi, son of Sergio, launched its first handbag, the Vali.<\/h4>\n

The famous Sergio Rossi<\/strong> concentrated on creating shoes.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

His son, Gianvito Rossi<\/strong>, learned from him the art and craft of creating these accessories for the female foot. But 17 years after launching (in 2006) his own dedicated footwear brand, based in San Mauro Pascoli, Emilia-Romagna, Gianvito Rossi is now branching out into leather goods<\/strong>. He has just unveiled his very first handbag, the Vali. In addition to producing over 300,000 pairs a year, Gianvito Rossi had already made a small foray into other accessories (belts, gloves, clutches, etc.).<\/p>\n

Diversification facilitated by the arrival of Richemont<\/h2>\n

 <\/p>\n

This diversification was facilitated by the arrival of Richemont as majority shareholder last July.<\/strong> In addition to bringing in cash, the Swiss luxury group is able to contribute its expertise in the accessories sector, and in handbags in particular.<\/strong> While Richemont is mainly present in jewelry (Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, IWC, Panerai, Piaget), its fashion division includes, in addition to Azzedine Alaia and AZ Factory, the Chlo\u00e9 brand, associated with famous it-bags.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<\/p>\n
