Davide Renne<\/strong> arrives at Moschino<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Eight months after the departure of American Jeremy Scott<\/strong>, the man behind the transalpine brand’s collections for a decade, the position is once again filled. An experienced Italian designer, Davide Renne, becomes the new creator of the women’s, men’s and accessories<\/strong> collections for the main line, starting November 1.<\/p>\n

His very first show at the helm of the Maison will take place in February 2024<\/strong>, during Milan Fashion Week<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The news was announced by Italian group Aeffe <\/strong>SpA, which had finalized the takeover of Moschino in 2021, acquiring the remaining 30% stake. Aeffe also owns the Alberta Ferretti, Pollini and Philosophy<\/strong> brands.<\/p>\n

Deep understanding<\/h2>\n

“We are convinced” that Davide Renne “will play an essential role<\/strong> in building the future of Moschino, a global house with an Italian heart and a truly unique DNA<\/strong> in the luxury industry”, announced Massimo Ferretti, Executive Chairman of Aeffe SpA<\/strong>, on social networks. He also said that he and his team were “impressed by Davide’s extremely sophisticated vision of the power of fashion to create a living dialogue with the world around us, and by his deep understanding of the House of Moschino’s heritage<\/strong> and our codes. ”<\/p>\n

Should we see this as a new illustration of the jurisprudence “the revenge of the men (and women) in the shadows on the stars?”<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<\/p>\n
