For this Paris Fashion Week dedicated to the spring-summer 2024 ready-to-wear collections, 68 of the 108 participating brands will be on show, while 41 will be content with a presentation in the capital.<\/p>\n

Nine new brands complete the rich program in the City of Light, including Peter Do on Tuesday, Marni on Wednesday and Mugler next Monday.<\/p>\n

As tradition dictates, the first day of Paris Fashion Week is dedicated to young designers<\/strong>. Marie Adam Leenaerdt<\/strong>, a young Belgian designer with a penchant for conceptual fashion, has the onerous task of opening this week of creative madness.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Next up is Jean-Paul Gaultier disciple and former ballet dancer Victor Weinsanto<\/strong>, who launched his label in 2020.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Last but not least, the Maison Pierre Cardin<\/strong>, splashed by a dark succession affair following the designer’s death in 2020, will close this first day. The House returned to the official calendar last March after a 25-year absence.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n On Tuesday, September 26<\/strong>, Maria Grazia Chiuri’s new collection for Christian Dior<\/strong>, which will once again take place in the Tuileries gardens, will take us into a new universe at 3 p.m. (and not 2:30 p.m. as indicated in a recent e-mail), after India, Mexico and ancient Greece.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Vietnamese-born American Peter Do will make his official calendar debut at 10 a.m.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Saint Laurent<\/strong>, the rock icon of the Kering group, will parade at the cour carr\u00e9e du Louvre at 8 p.m., the same day as the LVMH nugget. The event will be watched by fans of k-pop group Black Pink, who are convinced on the networks that Ros\u00e9 could make a surprise appearance, as she did last season, unleashing the crowds.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The following day, September 27<\/strong>, is all about resilience, with Olivier Rousteing determined to keep his Balmain<\/strong> show on the runway to close out the day, despite the robbery to which the House fell victim, just a few weeks before Paris Fashion Week.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Courr\u00e8ges<\/strong>, led by the discreet but viral Nicolas di Felice, who has been at the creative helm for three years, will also be on show, as will The Row<\/strong>, the Olsen sisters’ minimalist Californian label and true ambassador of the Quiet Luxury trend.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Immediately afterwards, it’s Marni<\/strong>‘s turn to join the official calendar in style, with a show at 1:30 p.m. at the H\u00f4tel Pozzo di Borgio, the only 18th-century mansion inhabited by the late Karl Lagerfeld.
