Mo\u00ebt & Chandon<\/strong>, the Champagne division of the Mo\u00ebt Hennessy<\/strong><\/a> group, has undergone an unprecedented reorganization.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Philippe Schauss<\/strong>, Chairman of Mo\u00ebt Hennessy, officially announced on Monday June 26<\/strong> the departure of Berta de Pablos-Barbier<\/strong> from the presidency of Mo\u00ebt & Chandon, where she joined only three years ago<\/strong>. According to a press release, her departure was motivated by “personal reasons”.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Berta de Pablos-Barbier, an agricultural engineer by training, has worked for Mars, Boucheron and Lacoste<\/strong>. She leaves her place to Sybille Scherer<\/strong>, who has been head of Maison Chandon<\/strong> since 2019<\/strong>. Sybille Scherer now takes the reins of the Mo\u00ebt & Chandon and Ruinart brands.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Maison Mo\u00ebt & Chandon, which includes brands such as Mo\u00ebt & Chandon, Dom Perignon, Ruinart and Mercier, is itself owned by LVMH<\/strong>.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Two other important appointments were announced, marking significant changes within Mo\u00ebt Hennessy.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n For the first time, the decision was taken to give Dom P\u00e9rignon<\/strong> its own presidency, to which Thomas Moradpour<\/strong> was appointed.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Previously, Thomas Moradpour was President of the Glenmorangie<\/strong> whisky brand. He also held the position of Marketing Director at Hennessy<\/strong> from 2014 to 2018<\/strong>.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Maison Mercier<\/strong> also welcomes a new President in Julien Morel<\/strong>, who was President at Mo\u00ebt Hennessy for 14 years<\/strong>.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n This reorganization will enable LVMH to strengthen its champagne brands.
