The cash transaction is expected to close in the second half of 2023<\/strong>, subject to approval by the relevant competition authorities.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n “The acquisition of Creed, which is Kering Beaut\u00e9’s first strategic initiative, demonstrates our ambition to build for the Group a solid position in the most exclusive segment of this category”,<\/em> said Fran\u00e7ois-Henri Pinault<\/strong>, CEO of Kering.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The Haute Parfumerie segment is experiencing strong market momentum<\/strong>, with double-digit growth, high profitability and consistent performance giving it long-term resilience.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The Maison Creed, founded in 1760 by James Henry Creed<\/strong>, will record “sales of around 250 million euros in 2023 in the very favorable haute parfumerie market”<\/em>, said Raffaella Cornaggia<\/strong>, CEO of Kering Beaut\u00e9, during a conference call with the press.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The independent company is considered “a real nugget in the booming haute parfumerie sector, thanks to its high profitability”<\/em>, she added.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n “Creed’s positioning in the haute parfumerie market is unique, and this transaction presents clear fundamentals and mutual benefits in terms of expertise, distribution network and geographic presence”<\/em>, added Raffaella Cornaggia. “We look forward to working with Managing Director Sarah Rotheram and her passionate team to continue building Creed’s success worldwide.”<\/em><\/p>\n <\/p>\n In its network of 36 stores<\/strong>, mainly in Europe and the USA, Creed offers its customers a unique, made-to-measure experience.
