Men’s Fashion Week Spring-Summer 2024 came to a close on Sunday June 25. For a whole week, Paris vibrated to the rhythm of the runway shows and we discovered the new collections of our favorite Houses. Discover the shows that made the biggest impression on us!

Men’s Fashion Week<\/strong>, which began with a bang with Louis Vuitton’s<\/strong> gigantic show on the Pont Neuf<\/a>, has just come to a close, leaving us with a few clues as to what men will look like in spring-summer 2024<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

A mix of musical spectacle, a parade of stars from all over the world and Pharrell Williams<\/strong>, the new artistic director succeeding the late Virgil Abloh<\/strong>, first lit up Paris and launched fashion week in the most beautiful way.<\/p>\n

Now that the shows are over and the celebrities are gone, let’s take a look back at the various collections from the major labels.<\/p>\n

Herm\u00e8s<\/h2>\n

 <\/p>\n

V\u00e9ronique Nichanian<\/strong>, artistic director of Herm\u00e8s<\/strong>, created a transparent, graceful collection for spring-summer 2024. Its freshness recalls the work of her early years, underlining both her intelligence and versatility in understanding and anticipating fashion trends. Not surprisingly, she has been the creative force behind the Herm\u00e8s men’s line since 1998<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

For this edition, V\u00e9ronique Nichanian presented a magnificent range of summery hues<\/strong>, from natural, earthy shades such as beige and brown, to fresher, brighter variations such as white, salmon pink and pearl gray. This choice creates a beautiful symbiosis with the fabrics used, blending linen, cotton and silk for fluid, light silhouettes.<\/p>\n

The AMI Paris<\/strong> spring-summer 2024 show was opened by Vincent Cassel<\/strong> and closed by Vittoria Ceretti<\/strong>. On the catwalk, a sophisticated, chic and casual style was presented. The proportions and cuts of the garments recall the aesthetics of the 90s, a period that fascinated artistic director Alexandre Mattiussi<\/strong> and marked his love of fashion.<\/p>\n

The clothes in the collection follow the body’s silhouette, lengthening it. Dresses come in pastel hues ranging from matte green to beige, from lilac to dusty gray.<\/p>\n

A fusion of masculine, feminine and unisex aspects<\/strong> occurs, with each element retaining its own identity, giving a contemporary character to the collection as a whole. Alexandre Mattiussi’s aim was to take Ami Paris back to its beginnings, remaining minimalist and true to the French essence expected of the brand. He succeeded in this task, while avoiding banality, recalling the essence of understated luxury that characterizes the label.<\/p>\n

Dior<\/h2>\n

 <\/p>\n

The new men’s collection for spring-summer 2024 marks Kim Jones’ 5-year<\/strong> tenure as artistic director of men’s design at Dior<\/strong>. Entitled “New Look to new wave”<\/strong>, it offers a bold and elegant vision of the Dior man. It pays tribute to the heritage of the French fashion house, highlighting structured tailoring, bright colors, tweed and embroidery.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The show, bathed in subdued light, began with models literally rising from the floor, creating an atmosphere of futuristic<\/strong> invasion. The ensembles combined corduroy shirts and pants with tweed jackets adorned with pearls, embellished with jeweled brooches and accented with touches of yellow, pink and blue. The suits were paired with sandals, socks and fluorescent sunglasses.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In this way, Kim Jones celebrated Dior’s heritage by highlighting the preciousness and archival treasures of the house, while bringing a touch of modernity and audacity to her creations.<\/p>\n
