On Wednesday, luxury leather accessories house Bally<\/strong> announced the appointment of Simone Bellotti as Artistic Director<\/strong>. After sixteen years with Gucci<\/strong>, Bellotti joined the prestigious Swiss brand last October<\/strong>. Simone Bellotti has also held senior design positions at Dolce & Gabbana, Bottega Veneta and Gianfranco Ferr\u00e9.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n This promotion follows the unexpected departure of Rhuigi Villase\u00f1or<\/strong>, who recently left his position as Artistic Director at Bally after spending just one year there. The JAB Holding<\/a> group<\/strong>, to which Bally belongs, as well as the designer himself, said it was a “mutual decision<\/em>“.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n “Simone Bellotti’s eye is inhabited by a freedom of spirit and a passion for research.
