Together, they created a <strong>box of macaroons<\/strong> in the colors of the tournament&#8217;s iconic clay court.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Whether a souvenir or a simple indulgence, the box is decorated with a tennis court, in green and terra cotta colors reminiscent of the famous Parisian court. Filled with 8 macaroons in different flavors, flocked SSS with the Roland-Garros logo, it didn&#8217;t go unnoticed at the tournament, at the risk of stealing the limelight from the athletes. For the more reasonable, the small round cake is priced at 3.20 euros each.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Economic spin-offs from Roland-Garros<\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Last year, the sporting event attracte<strong>d more than 613 000 visitors, 18% more than in 2019<\/strong>. Its celebrity and popularity with stars and tennis fans alike generate millions of euros in revenue.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Bags, tennis balls and clothing: over 500 000 products bearing the tournament&#8217;s logo were sold last year.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Roland-Garros public also generated <strong>513 000 transactions at the stadium&#8217;s various catering outlets<\/strong>, including the emblematic Ladur\u00e9e macaroons, which sold as fast as a tennis ball was exchanged between players on the court!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The House of Ladur\u00e9e, founded 160 years ago, reaffirms year after year its position as the world leader in French patisserie.
