The aim? Strengthen the company&#8217;s growth and create new demand.<\/h4>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Japanese cosmetics company <strong>Shiseido<\/strong> has announced that its subsidiaries<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/luxus-plus.com\/en\/shiseido-2022-results-disappointing-due-to-china-and-japan\/\"> Shiseido Japan<\/a> and Shiseido Pharmaceutical<\/strong> will merge at the end of the year.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The activities of Shiseido Pharmaceutical will be transferred to Shiseido Japan, which operates <strong>cosmetics and healthcare businesses in Japan<\/strong>. The operation will take the <strong>form of an absorption-type demerger.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Shiseido Group, <a href=\"https:\/\/luxus-plus.com\/en\/shiseido-profit-doubled-in-the-first-quarter-but-outlook-still-down-for-2023\/\">which reported a good first quarter<\/a>, has set out its medium-term strategy, <strong>&#8220;SHIFT 2025 and Beyond&#8221;<\/strong>, under a new management structure. It intends to strengthen its growth to <em>&#8220;be a global winner&#8221;<\/em>, it states in a press release.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>New opportunities<\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The company has targeted <strong>the -Clean \uff06 Dermatology and -Inner Beauty fields<\/strong>, which continue to grow, as <strong>new growth opportunities<\/strong> to capture changes among Japanese consumers.
