Hedi Slimane<\/strong>, the artistic director of the House of C\u00e9line, chose the Castle of\u00a0Vaux-le-Vicomte<\/strong> in April 2021 to unveil his latest collection. Some time later, it is at the Castle of Chambord<\/strong>, otherwise known as the “diamond hidden in the woods<\/em>” that he puts his suitcases to present his men’s collection fall-winter 2021-2022, entitled Teen Knight Poem<\/em>. A mix of genres and eras that has left its mark<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

One of the biggest French fashion houses, Chanel<\/strong>, also chose the castle bias to reveal a collection in the middle of the covid, by trying the experience of a film-defil\u00e9 at the Castle of Chenonceau<\/strong>, also located in the Loire Valley. A choice that is both artistic and a tribute, since Gabrielle Chanel was a great admirer of Catherine de Medici.<\/p>\n

There are so many castles in France that fashion houses are spoilt for choice.<\/p>\n

Last March, Dior<\/strong> took over the famous and resplendent Hall of Mirrors of the Palace of Versailles<\/strong> to present the Cocteauian<\/em> collection, designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri. It was a real royal show that she delivered in a place dear to Monsieur Dior. This castle was indeed a point of reference for the eponymous designer and remained one of his main inspirations, both for its singular architecture and for the parties held there during the 18th century.<\/p>\n

For its part, Valentino<\/strong>, the Italian fashion house led by Pierpaolo Piccioli<\/strong> since 2016, will present its next show at the Castle de Chantilly<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Named designer of the year for the second time in a row, the designer and great friend of the stars has been able to give the label a second wind, highlighting bright colors and unstructured cuts.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Valentino is also known for the staging of his sumptuous fashion shows that are real shows where the catwalk<\/strong> becomes almost a play. After the Spanish Steps in Rome or the Carreau du Temple in Paris, it is in the department of Oise, at the castle of Chantilly that the latest fall-winter haute couture collection will be presented. The event will take place on July 5th.<\/p>\n
