The subsidiary of the Richemont<\/strong> luxury group will open two new manufacturing sites in the Dr\u00f4me and Puy-de-D\u00f4me regions by 2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n The Dr\u00f4me workshop will be dedicated to jewelry<\/strong>, on a 2.5 hectare<\/strong> site located in the “Porte du Vercors” business park in Ch\u00e2teauneuf-sur-Is\u00e8re<\/strong>. It will consist of a building to house the artisans, their support functions and a training incubator. The latter will strengthen the partnership between Van Cleef & Arpels and the Amblard high school in Valence.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n The Puy-de-D\u00f4me workshop will be dedicated to the jewelry<\/strong> business and will be located near Thiers<\/strong>, on the site of the former Rexo factory. Several new buildings will be constructed on the site, to house spaces for training, production, employee services, and a nursery.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n “The company’s decision to locate a jewelry manufacturing unit in Romans-sur-Is\u00e8re and a jewelry manufacturing unit in Dorat, near Thiers, is a source of great pride for our region, which is the second largest region in France in terms of the number of jobs and companies in the jewelry industry”<\/em>, said the Auvergne-Rh\u00f4ne-Alpes region, which supported the luxury goods company’s move to the region.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n In total, the French jewelry group, with locations in Paris, Lyon and Geneva<\/strong>, will invest 55 million euros<\/strong> in these two new establishments.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The creation of these new workshops reinforces Auvergne-Rh\u00f4ne-Alpes’ position as the second largest region in France in terms of the number of jobs and companies in the jewelry and goldsmithing industry<\/strong>.
