In addition, the report states that only 17.4%<\/strong> of e-waste generated in 2019 was recycled.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Gillian Carr<\/strong>, the co-founder of Oushaba, points out that a lot of e-waste ends up in landfills and wants to “challenge people’s idea of what waste is and what luxury is.” “These e-waste components are really beautiful, with amazing colors, shapes and features, similar to a piece of jewelry”,<\/em> she adds.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Oushaba’s jewelry is sourced from local electronics repair shops<\/strong>. Even its packaging is eco-friendly<\/strong>.
