September 2, 2018 | Agenda
From 2 to 4 September will take place the International Jewellery London. This event is a must-see for jewellery professionals in the United Kingdom as it will provide an overview of the current trends in the sector.

The London International Jewelry Show is the UK’s most prestigious show in the jewelery industry. The show will offer the chance to discover the latest products from 520 different producers, designers, gem suppliers, and upscale traders. IJL attracts a wide range of buyers and jewelry lovers from 71 different countries to do business and share knowledge, all in the heart of London, the capital of style.
Every year, the most talented and innovative designers present their latest collections.

Beside the exhibitions, the fair also offers a complementary educational program on upcoming trends, strategies for retailers and the latest marketing techniques.
This year again, the Gem Empathy Award will be held, as the competition gives exhibitors the chance to win a gem cut by world-renowned master cutter John Dyer.
The biggest novelty of IJL 2018: A team of experts from the Goldsmiths Craft & Design Council will select thirteen UK designers for the Uniquely UK, a campaign made to showcase the skills of British goldsmiths and jewellry designers. The candidats selected will have the opportunity to present their work at the IJL’s new exhibition : NEW Uniquely UK.
Among them: Ute Decker, a London-based jeweller who makes unique and limited edition pieces in the best sustainable materials available and is one of the first in the world to launch a collection in fairtrade gold. Theo Fennell, known for his imaginary pieces, eclectic, unusual and incredibly worked. And Stephen Webster, known for his avant-garde designs inspired by fashion, music, literature and art.
