The Hong Kong Watch & Clock 2018 will take place from September 4 to 8, 2018


The Hong Kong Watch & Clock Fair will be held from September 4 to 8, 2018 in the Pearl of the Orient. This tradeshow, dedicated to all sectors of watchmaking, gathers every year industry experts to highlight upcoming trends and explore the latest innovations in the field of watches and clocks.

The Hong Kong Watch & Clock Fair, the world’s largest luxury watch trade show, will be held from September 4 to 8, in Hong Kong. This five-day organized at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center (HKCEC) will host 830 exhibitors from 25 countries and regions. New exhibitors from Denmark, Poland, Saudi Arabia and South Africa will also be present. On the program: exhibitions, forums, conferences and networking.
Organized by HKTDC, the Hong Kong Watch Manufacturers Association and the Hong Kong Watch Industry Federation, the event is not only open to watch industry professionals but the general public as well. Brand watches, clocks, machinery and equipment, packaging, watch parts and components … all the sectors of the world watch industry will be represented. This will be the opportunity to discover the latest trends and innovations in these sectors.
This year, the event will host 13 renowned brands and designers : Blancpain, Breguet, Chopard, CORUM, FRANCK MULLER, Original Glashütte, Jacob et Cie, Jaquet Droz, Juvenia, PARMIGIANI FLEURIER, Piaget, SARCAR Genève and Zenith.
The Asian Watch Conference will be held as part of Hong Kong Watch & Clock Fair. Watchmaking professionals will be invited to participate in the conference to share their views on the future of the world watch industry. Among the challenges of watchmakers established on the world market for many years: reevaluate their ideals and their brand strategies while trying to adopt the new technologies created by the growth of smart watches.
“Hong Kong is one of the world’s major exporters of watches and clocks, with exports reaching HK$37.3 billion in the first seven months of 2018, up 2.5% over last year. Local watch and clock companies have been developing original design manufacturing (ODM) products and own brands with innovative designs and superb craftsmanship to stay competitive” commented Benjamin Chau, deputy executive director of HKTDC.
