Places d’Or was created in 1994 by Richard David Zaoui, who regretted the absence of a business network and an event bringing together the suppliers of the world’s leading luxury brands.
“For 24 years, Les Places d’Or has been the meeting place for luxury brands and packaging and design professionals, bringing together some sixty recognized exhibitors every year in exceptional locations for the quality of their creations The greatest creators of perfume bottles and spirits, jars, carafes, cases, boxes, cases and the leaders of trades related to the beautification of the products present their innovations“, explained the organizers.
The show is now one of the most important events on luxury design and packaging in the world. It gathers the greatest experts in design and luxury packaging for a unique meeting.
This year, nearly fifty luxury packaging suppliers will be gathered to present their best achievements in the fields of perfume creation, crystal, glass, wood, plastic, paper, cardboard, metal, textile for three days.
Fifteen new exhibitors are also expected this year. For example Woodoo, a start up whose technology can strengthen the wood at the molecular level, which could eventually allow to build all kinds of buildings from this material. The Swiss agency Luxury Design YG will also be present for the first time.
As another novelty, the 2018 edition will be governed by the CEO of Rémy Cointreau, Dominique Hériard Dubreuil. Will also be present among the guests of honor, Chantal Thomas and Olivier Lapidus.
