Talents de Mode : the contest is postponed to next fall

Due to the health crisis, the 14th edition of the Talents de Mode contest is postponed to next fall. To this end, the registration, initially scheduled for April 15 and then postponed to May 4, has been extended until September 14, while the jury should meet next October.
This year, for the first time, the competition is exclusively open to fashion companies under the age of 5. Eligible are companies and micro-enterprises established between 1 January 2015 and 31 December 2019.
The competition has entrusted the presidency for this edition to Thomas Huriez, the founder of the 1083 jeans brand.
This competition is aimed at young fashion designers who wish to benefit from the support and guidance of professionals to develop their brand.
At the end of this competition, four prizes are awarded: the Residence Prize worth 33,000 euros, the Innovation Prize worth 18,000 euros, the Special Jury Prize worth 13,000 euros and the Public Prize awarded by the digital community via social networks.
These prizes are anchored in the reality of the market, they take into account its evolution, its stakes, particularly in terms of sustainable development and technological emergence, and its particularities.
The Talents de Mode competition, created by the Village des Créateurs from Lyon, is an unmissable fashion event with a growing reputation. The economic development structure of fashion, decoration and design-object companies in the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes region has given birth to this event in order to stimulate emerging brands with strong entrepreneurial value. It offers them the concrete means to develop in a sustainable way in France and abroad.
Applications are to be submitted on the Talents de Mode website. The announcement of the winners is expected in mid-October.
