Sotheby’s International Realty opens its first office in Oman

Luxury real estate brand Sotheby’s International Realty has recently expanded its presence in the Middle East with the opening of Oman Sotheby’s International Realty. The brand is continuing its growth in the region with the opening of a third affiliate.
Oman Sotheby’s International Realty is owned by Alfardan Group, a Doha-based conglomerate with a heritage spanning more than 65 years and an ambitious expansion strategy in the region. The branch is headed by Faisal Al Shanfari, Country Manager, who brings 20 years of experience to the company. The headquarters is located in Muscat, Oman, and serves the surrounding areas.
“Oman is widely regarded as a welcoming place to live and work, with a large expatriate community,” said Philip White, president and CEO of Sotheby’s International Realty. “The Omani government has recently implemented the 99-year lease and freehold zones, which gives expatriates even more confidence to invest and buy property in Oman. We look forward to working with Faisal and the entire Oman Sotheby’s International Realty team to grow their business in the country.”

With a positive outlook, the region is capable of hosting investments thanks to a stable economy, solid infrastructure and qualified human resources.
The international real estate agency offers a portfolio of high-end properties in prime locations in Oman and abroad. The properties range from flats to duplexes, penthouses and villas.
“The Omani market is improving and evolving faster than ever before,” said Faisal Al Shanfari. said Faisal Al Shanfari. “Our mission is to provide the highest quality of service to our clients.
