Instagram Shopping : 3 new features

Instagram revealed new ways of advertising. The objective is to reinforce their relation with retailers to increase their sales on one hand and their advertising incomes on the other hand.

First, Shopping In-Video, enables to showcase products in a video. Every time a product will appear in a video, a Shopping icon will blow up so the user can see the product in detail and check out the brand’s website.

Secondly, users will now be able to record products they like in the Collection Shopping tool. All their products will be kept in a tab, like a wishing list.

Finally, the last tool is adressed to advertisers. Companies can collect all the products posted on their instagram page with the Boutique tool. This tool will look like a mini e-commerce website that features the name, the price and the instagram post related to the product.
