The RM 52-05 tourbillon exploits three key characteristics of the Swiss watch brand: engraving, enamelling and painting.

On the dial, we can see the face of a helmeted astronaut looking through the space landscape. It is made of titanium, set with white diamonds, black sapphires, gold and grand feu enamel. It is a meticulous work, done by hand, where the decoration of the space helmet alone requires 15 hours of work.

The bottom of the case shows the base plate and the bridge in Grade 5 titanium, composed of 90% titanium, 6% aluminum and 4% vanadium. The same material is used in the aeronautics and aerospace industry.

Further down, we can observe blue aventurine glass encrusted with hexagonal copper crystals giving the appearance of bright stars in a night sky.

Powered by an RM 52-05 calibre, the watch has a fast rotating barrel, 19 jewels, a tourbillon, 42-hour power reserve, beats at 21,600 HPV and can go up to 50 metres underwater.
