From the start of the 2021 academic year, NEOMA Business School will add a new program to its courses, the Bachelor in Service Management, in partnership with L’Oréal and Fauchon.

NEOMA Business School will offer its Bachelor in Service Management from the start of the 2021 academic year on the Rouen campus. This new three-year training program is divided into four specific courses in the fields of management and entrepreneurship.

The Bachelor in Service Management, in partnership with the world leaders L’Oréal and Fauchon, will train students in management excellence. Four courses will be offered: the “Distribution” course through the historical ECAL course at NEOMA, the “Gastronomy” course in partnership with the FAUCHON School, and the “Hair and Beauty” course in partnership with L’Oréal. The last program, concerning the hotel sector, will only open at the beginning of the academic year 2022.

Management training is NEOMA’s central mission“, explains Delphine Manceau, Managing Director of NEOMA. “Today, we are putting our historical expertise at the service of four sectors of excellence undergoing profound change“.

These new courses will focus on learning French expertise in the most important sectors of our economy and our influence abroad: gastronomy, distribution, hairdressing and beauty, and hotels. Particular attention will be paid to digital innovation in services and customer experience. Concrete training in the technical know-how of these professions of excellence will be applied for three years.

The course devoted to Gastronomy is being carried out in partnership with the FAUCHON School, a reference in the French culinary arts. This course is aimed at young graduates who wish to turn towards the restaurant and gastronomy sectors and who would like to acquire technical, managerial, and entrepreneurial skills in these fields.

Fauchon is prestige, and NEOMA is excellence. Through this unprecedented partnership, we will train students in the food and service professions by combining theoretical and practical skills, real springboards to employment“, explains Kamel Mebarki, the Managing Director of the FAUCHON School.

The course-specific to Distribution will focus on a program revisited for this Bachelor’s degree and renowned in the distribution sector, the ECAL program. The program will be made up of several points, and the emphasis has been placed on the innovations of the sector: the combination of physical and digital channels, data management, services, and customer experience as well as the new expectations of consumers, especially on societal and environmental issues.

With the new Ec@l, our ambition is clear: to strengthen our expertise in the retail sector and to train the talent that will be able to turn the current changes into real growth opportunities for their brands. This program is the School of New Distribution and Services,” explains the president of NEOMA Business School, Michel-Edouard Leclerc.

The course dedicated to Hairdressing and Beauty is carried out in partnership with the “REAL Campus by L’Oréal” school. It aims to train students in the transformation of the hairdressing and beauty professions while placing the customer experience at the heart of the training.

Our ambition is to offer young talents in the hair and beauty industry all the tools they need to innovate and rethink the customer experience to meet the new expectations of consumers looking for unique experiences,” said Nathalie Roos, Managing Director of L’Oréal’s “professional products” division and a graduate administrator of NEOMA.

As for the hotel industry career path, it will only open at the beginning of the 2022 academic year and will train future managers in the hotel sector, offering them a deep immersion in the different functions of the hotel industry.

Whether in distribution, gastronomy, hairdressing, and beauty, or the hotel industry, our students will have access to the best teaching,” explains Delphine Manceau. “In this way, we want to create a program that strengthens the entrepreneurial spirit in French areas of excellence, that combines innovation and know-how, and that is extremely attractive to the younger generation by offering them a complete training program, carried out in partnership with renowned houses“.
