Every year, the Parc des Expositions Villepinte in Paris welcome the professionals of design and decoration for five days. Maison&Objet is the opportunity to discover or rediscover the emerging trends of interior design and to meet the talents of tomorrow.

This bi-annual exhibition brings together designers, buyers, professionals and decoration specialists to explore the world of home design, decoration, tableware, accessories and textiles. It also reveals the latest retail strategies, emerging trends in the sector and the latest innovative materials. With 3,000 exhibitors from around the world, 600 of which are new, more than 130,000 m² of booths and 70,000 visitors, Maison&Objet is the must-see event for all the actors in the art of living, home fashion and decoration, interior and design.

After the United Kingdom and Italy, Lebanon is being honored during this new edition through young talents in design and decoration. In addition, 7 Lebanese designers were invited to compose the Jury Selection.

The show will distinguish the personalities who have known the international news of design and decoration through the election of the “Creator of the Year“. The 2018 edition will celebrate the talent of the designer Ramy Fischler, a contemporary Belgian designer, who lives and works in Paris. The latter had seduced the jury with his creations inspired by cinema.

For this edition, Vincent Grégoire, from the trend forecasting agency NellyRodi and a designer-scenographer of the Space of Inspirations and Coffee-Bookstore, also looks at the theme “Virtuous” which aims to think about new possibilities, more virtuous, for the universe of the house.

The edition will have many surprises with a new organization of the show that results in a brand new course in two poles, divided into several categories. There are four styles for the home universe (Unique & Eclectic, Today, Forever and Craft) and seven families for objects. These spaces are made by the trend-setters Elizabeth Leriche, François Bernard and François Delclaux. As with each edition, the spaces were staged in order to easily identify the inevitable back to school.
