On the occasion of its 20th anniversary, Le Mandarin Oriental reopens its doors to its guests with completely refurbished suites and rooms. Among other things, this is the most emblematic renovation in the hotel’s history.

The hotel has restored all of its common areas and its various rooms to welcome its guests for its 20th anniversary and unveils completely refurbished rooms: a strong start for one of the most beautiful luxury hotels in the country despite the global health crisis.

The Mandarin Oriental will welcome its future guests from their first steps in the heart of an installation of nearly 100 mountain paintings arranged in miniature in the hotel lobby, signed Felix Rehfeld, one of the most famous artists in Germany.

Each room has been revisited to help guests discover different worlds and make their stay memorable. Each room has been redesigned to offer guests a memorable stay in a different world, with carefully selected, designer furniture and works of art representing the history of the city of Munich, with the aim of immersing guests in the heart of their history. We can discover unique and specific creations on request of the hotel, signed Nymphenburg, German manufacturer of royal porcelain.

The Mandarin Oriental is one of the first hotels to have become aware of current environmental issues and to have taken the decision to replace all of its single-use plastic products with more environmentally friendly alternatives, especially in its bathrooms and rooms.

Renowned for its personalized services to its customers and its great discretion, the luxury hotel now offers its guests an immersive experience to live during their stays. The Hamburg studio signed CM-Design offers different effects of styles, colors and patterns inside the room as well as a perfect marriage between antique furniture and contemporary design.

To achieve this, Le Mandarin Oriental has collaborated with various renowned artists and brands such as the Bavarian carpentry company Felix Graf, the French furniture customization company Ligne Roset, and the carpet production and lifestyle specialist House of Tai Ping.

In addition to noble, durable and fashionable materials, the luxury hotel has opted to install the latest technology in each of its rooms and suites. The bathrooms are repainted in sleek and chic black and white tones, while maintaining its responsibility to minimize its environmental impact, particularly on water and energy consumption.

These various facilities and services promise a unique stay for future guests, including the installation of private bars inside all the hotel’s rooms, offering a different creation by Matsuhisa Munich every day, in reference to the hotel’s new restaurant, which will be inaugurated in 2015. And finally, each afternoon will be dedicated to a champagne tasting directly in the room for the greatest pleasure of the guests, brought by a cart created especially for this occasion.
