Café V will offer a menu by Japanese top chef Yosuke Sug and is scheduled to open on February 15th, after the opening of the new Louis Vuitton shop on February 1st. The restaurant, which also includes a bar and a spacious terrace, will be located on the top floor of the Louis Vuitton Osaka outpost.

The Sugalabo V, which will be located next to the bar, will serve dinner to customers in an open kitchen in the style of the Tokyo branch of Sugalabo.

Michael Burke, President and CEO of Louis Vuitton, confirmed this development and suggested that restaurants and even hotels could be a future avenue of expansion for the luxury brand.

News of Louis Vuitton’s Japanese restaurant arrives as architect Peter Marino, who has designed stores for LV and Dior, confirms that he is working on Langosteria’s first Paris branch for LVMH. Langosteria is a high-end seafood restaurant located in Milan and very popular with fashion lovers. It will be located on the seventh floor of La Samaritaine, the flagship department store due to reopen in April and will serve as a showcase for the French group’s activities.
