The French interparfums group saw a 9% increase in revenues in the first half of 2019, amounting to €238.4 million.

The company, specializing in the creation and production of perfumes, counts among its clients high-end brands such as Karl Lagerfeld, Lanvin, MontBlanc or Jimmy Choo.

The German group MontBlanc is the largest contributor to the company business activities in the first six months of 2019, with a result of 71.8 million euros and an increase in sales by 26% compared to the first half of 2018.

Interparfums had for a long time benefited from a license agreement with the British brand Burberry which stopped in 2013: the results had at the time dropped from 445 million euros in 2012 to 297 million in 2014.

So the perfume company took time to rebuild and it was only last year, in 2018, that it returned to its original figures with a result of 455 million euros.

The figures for the first half of 2019 confirm the medium- to long-term upward trend and President Philippe Benacin confirmed the revenue target of 480 million euros for the full year.
