The French Strategic Committee of the Fashion & Luxury Sector – which includes tableware, jewellery, jewellery, gold and silverware, footwear, fashion and clothing, leather, watchmaking, leather goods and textiles – is launching a major national campaign on 15 October 2019 to promote these high value-added professions. This grouping of the sectors around a common action is a first.

Know-how to do” is the signature of this new campaign which includes: a film presenting the universe of the sector, a website common to all sectors, www.savoirpourfaire.fr, presenting the specificities of the professions as well as the location of all existing training courses.
There is also a recruitment area where candidates will find detailed job descriptions, portraits, concrete testimonials and a platform to apply directly online. Objective : Supporting vocational training for young people and employment in the sector.

The Strategic Sectoral Committee (CSF) for the fashion and luxury industries, which was set up between June 2011 and April 2013, under the responsibility of Isabelle Guichot, CEO of Balenciaga, brings together professionals in the sector, public authorities and trade unions representing the sector’s employees. The fashion and luxury sector represents a few large groups and hundreds of SMEs that mobilise excellent know-how and constitute the foundation of the made in France in this sector.

Today, in France, 1 industrial company out of 13 works in the field of fashion and luxury. To learn, develop, transmit and constantly adapt its know-how, the French Fashion & Luxury sector is looking for a variety of profiles: students, professionals in retraining, job seekers… in an innovative and creative sector, where passion and perfection are the keywords.

The recruitment horizon is wide and gives everyone a chance (or a second chance). The distribution of companies and establishments throughout the country is an asset that allows candidates to find a job or training not far from home.
