E-commerce : Coty announces the launch of Gucci Beauty on the Alibaba platform

Coty has just announced the launch of the Gucci Beauty boutique on the Tmall Luxury Pavilion, Alibaba’s platform dedicated to luxury and premium brands.

 

The launch of the shop continues a collaboration that began in December 2020 with the inauguration of Gucci’s first flagship shop dedicated to its fashion collections on the luxury pavilion of the e-commerce platform.

As Chinese consumers seek to engage with iconic brands such as Gucci and Gucci Beauty, they expect a sophisticated and seamless digital experience. Following Gucci’s successful launch in the small luxury pavilion, we are delighted to work with Gucci Beauty to further enhance their engagement and success in China,” said Michael Evans, President of Alibaba Group.

 

With the opening of this digital shop, Gucci Beauty products will be unveiled to more than 770 million Chinese consumers on the Tmall platform. Consumers will have the opportunity to discover and purchase items from Gucci Beauty’s full range of make-up and fragrances.
