The Formula 1 driver becomes the ambassador of the Italian house on the occasion of  the Giorgio Armani Made to Measure spring 2020 ads.

At the age of 22, the young Monegasque is already a reference on the Formula 1 circuit. Since 2019, he has successfully embodied the Scuderia Ferrari, the most prestigious of the Formula 1 teams. His successive prowess motivated Ferrari to extend his contract until 2024, while the four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel leaves the famous prancing horse.

Like Lewis Hamilton with Tommy Hilfiger before him, Charles Leclerc set out to conquer men’s fashion.

It is now as a muse that the young man distinguishes himself. This spring-summer 2020 season, he embodies the Giorgio Armani campaign for the Made to Measure collection. Between tradition and innovation, Charles Leclerc elegantly dresses the prestigious costumes of the Italian house.

The Italian designer himself explained the campaign: “Charles Leclerc is a very promising racing driver. He has reached new heights despite his young age, and this is an indication of his will and determination, as well as his obvious talent. He is fresh and has an energetic physical presence that my custom collection enhances and to which he fits well. A tailor-made suit is ageless, as these photographs demonstrate“.

A breath of fresh air for the brand that is gradually beginning its global lockdown end. On May 18, the Armani group began reopening around 100 points of sale in its worldwide network, ensuring the implementation of the necessary security measures and its new appointment scheduling service. Giorgio Armani also plans to reopen Armani Silos, its museum and art space in southern Milan during the course of the week.
