Cannes : The Yachting Festival will take place from September 11 to 16, 2018


From September 11 to 16, the Cannes Yachting Festival, the biggest boat show in Europe, will return to the bay of Cannes. With more than 50,000 visitors and more than 500 exhibitors from around the world, this festival offers a unique experience for luxury boat enthusiasts every year.

Since 1977, the Yachting Festival, the most important nautical meeting in Europe, brings together, 30 different nationalities from the biggest manufacturers from all over the world. Monohull, multihull, motor and sailing boats will be exhibited in world premiere for 6 days. Also on the program of this 41st edition, the boat trips proposed by shipyards that will allow new buyers to test the most beautiful yachts in the world.
It is in the heart of the French Riviera, more precisely in two exceptional ports of the Côte d’Azur that will take place the Yachting Festival : The Old Port and The Port Canto. On its side, Port Pierre Canto will host boats used or rented, from 22 meters, but also toys. The Old Port, for its part, will welcome new boats. More than 600 boats from 5 to 55 meters will be exhibited, of which 120 are world premieres.
Among the most awaited exhibitors, Sunreef Yachts, world leader in the design and construction of custom multihulls. The Polish manufacturer has announced that it will present three new world premieres. Will also be present, Salpa which has more than 30 years of experience in the pleasure craft sector. It will present a range of semi rigids at the Yachting Festival in Cannes 2018.
The Yachting Festival also has a space dedicated to luxury: the Luxury Gallery. Created three years ago, the Luxury Gallery offers inside the Palais des Festivals luxury spaces occupied by large houses specialized in high-end, crafts and lifestyle. The opportunity for brands to attract an international audience of demanding visitors and professionals.
This year will also mark the 4th edition of the Concours d’Élégance which will take place on Saturday, September 15th at 4pm. Reserved for motorboats and day boats of less than 12 meters, the competition will allow visitors to enjoy a parade of small vintage and modern boats that will pay tribute to the rich history of yachting in the heart of the French Riviera.
