Call for entries for the 7th edition of the Paris Shop & Design competition

The Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry is calling for entries for the 7th edition of the Paris Shop & Design Award, a prize that rewards the best initiatives in the field of commercial architecture in the capital.
Any retailer can participate if it is located in Paris, offers a point of sale open to the public and falls into the following categories: Food, Home, Decoration, Fashion, Well-being, Health, Beauty, Hotels, Cafés, Restaurants, Culture, Leisure, Services to individuals.
The interior design project must have been completed within the last 3 years. Shopkeepers and designer architects can submit their applications before 31 May 2021.
The prize-giving ceremony will take place on 18 October 2021 at the headquarters of the Paris Ile-de-France Chamber of Commerce and Industry at the Hotel Potocki. Among 300 professionals from the fields of architecture, design and innovative commerce, 6 prize-winning pairs or individual traders will be rewarded.
The latter will see their notoriety leap forward thanks to the extensive communication surrounding the event: inserts in the specialist and general public press, posters, promotion on social networks, video clips…
The aim of this award is to demonstrate the importance of the appearance of the point of sale for the customer experience and, above all, its attractiveness. The most innovative architectural achievements in terms of design are honoured here, especially those that are the result of an exceptional collaboration between a retailer who has made the customer experience his priority and an architect or designer who puts his creativity and expertise at the service of point-of-sale design.
“To seduce a versatile and over-informed consumer, brands have no choice but to offer successful and differentiating shopping experiences… It is this abundance of initiatives and commercial innovations that Paris Shop & Design wants to report on. “said Dominique Restino, President of the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
