American elections 2020 : the American fashion and luxury trade worried

Pending the results of the U.S. presidential elections, all sectors and merchants are concerned about the consequences that this will have on the market but especially on the population.

 

In New York, more than half of the stores and especially the big luxury houses are barricaded in the streets.

 

In the uncertain expectation of the election results, major brands such as Fendi, Montblanc, Céline, Hermès or Chanel, have decided to install huge plywood store fronts in front of their stores to protect themselves from possible unrest outside following the announcement of the results which will take place soon. This announcement does not, however, indicate any date for the planned reopening.
