Opened four years ago, Mar Suites Formentera belongs to the MarCapital group and is operated by Universal Beach Hotels. The property only opens during the beautiful season, from March or April, to offer guests the very best of the island.
Nothing on the outside could prepare visitors for the charm that radiates from the hotel as soon as they enter. Forget the traditional reception area, usually the first space discovered in luxury properties. At Mar Suites Formentera, the entrance opens directly onto the restaurant and bar area. Fine sand covers the floor, recalling the upscale beach clubs of the Balearics, complemented by wooden tables, woven chairs, and crochet parasols.
Lush greenery enhances the natural atmosphere of the property, with immaculate finishes punctuated by elegant materials such as dry stone, juniper wood, sisal rope, and wooden reeds.
