Première Vision Paris brings together 6 salons for each of the trades, materials and services intended for fashion: Yarns (Yarns), fabrics (Fabrics), leathers (Leather), drawings (Designs), accessories (Accessories) and confection (Manufacturing).
PV will welcome various innovations aimed at informing and supporting exhibitors and visitors in their daily work for the s / s 2021 season, including a wide range of conferences and informative seminars.
The main innovation this year is a smart creation area bringing together 58 eco-responsible companies focused on fashion technologies.
The two groups of companies that previously exhibited in two separate spaces will be brought together in the same space located in Hall 3.
In total, 48 companies will belong to the responsible creation category and 10 to the tech fashion category.
In addition, exhibitors will be presented according to an Index to better identify their specialty.
Among the 13 categories of this index, we can find key aspects such as recycled materials, organic materials, traceability, alternative materials and circular models.
Others are recognized according to categories such as fabrics with innovative properties and portable technologies.
Among the exhibitors presenting innovative and durable materials, Roica presents a model of G-Star denim jeans using 2% of premium degradable stretch fibers.
Respect for the environment, a major issue
Respect for the environment is confirmed as one of the key aspects on which the fashion and textile industry is currently focusing.
“Almost one in two European consumers say they bought at least one responsible fashion product in 2019, according to an IFM-Première Vision chair survey,” said Gilles Lasbordes, CEO of Premiere Vision.
Another successful market segment is hosted by PV Leather, also located in Hall 3. This section of the fair features 255 exhibitors specializing in the development of leathers, furs and fabrics for the accessory markets.
Of this total, 39 new companies are using vegetable or mixed tanning methods confirming their intention to reduce their impact on the environment.
From the wide range of conferences and seminars organized by the Innovation Talks Area trade fair located in Hall 3, the conference “Leather Bashing: restoring the truth about leather” on responsible leather will be organized on February 12 at 10 am . Among the speakers expected: Frank Boehly, President of the National Leather Council (CNC), but also Jérôme Verdier, CEO Alran SAS – President of the French Federation of Tannery Mégisserie.
Note that PV is also one of the main sponsors of the exhibition “Marche et Démarche, une histoire de la chaussures” held at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris until February 23, 2020.
At the show, Première Vision Paris sheds particular light on this exhibition, exploring shoes through a selection of images and films.
PV is celebrating its 45th anniversary this year. For the occasion, she published the book Inspiring Fashion Textile Revolutions published by La Martinière editions.
